Hey, thanks for the great quality shot! I am just curious as to what breed this is. He looks like he has Arab influence, maybe Crabett Arab? Or an Anglo Arab?

Draggie? He's a purebred arabian, of Polish breeding (aside from the Aswan influence). I wouldn't say that he resembles an anglo that much:P

Ah, I see. I think I was thrown by his hindquarters for some reason. Maybe I've been looking at the HARPG Arabs too much and not enough Arabs in real life, lol.

Haha, probably:P He is a quite classic one, although a little "short" overall. Not the most modern type perhaps, but would do ok at a minor show at least.
Arabians come in many different types, so I'd say that you might have looked at the HARPG ones a little too much, yup:P But feel free to raid my arabian folder!:D

I will! In real life I've only seen a handful of Arabs and most were of the Egyptian build than the others.

There really isn't that much of a difference between the different types. You can see some minor traits that are more or less common in some types, but imo, people put too much stock in what a different type should look like. In reality, most of them look quite similar:) If I stand at a race track or an endurance race, it's often quite impossible to guess the specific "type" of horse. Some of them you could give a pretty accurate guess at, but most of them... nah.
Draggie here is looks pretty much like a "classic" Polish one though, although most Polish ones that are bred for halter today is a bit more modern when it comes to type. He's pretty old by now though, and with a few extra pounds:P Used to be a little slimmer and and musculed back when he was young, hehe.

Just passing through but owning a pure breed Arabian they are quite short I have never really seen just an Arab that was big they've all been pretty mild in size.

They are quite small in size indeed, but can still be of very different sizes. I've seen purebred arabians ranging from 1,35 m to the wither, up to 1,66 m. I'm absolutly terrible at measuring horses in hh, since we only use the metric system, so you'll probably have to convert that yourself:P
1,66 meters to the wither is however the same size that many warmbloods have, so I would call that rather big.
I take photos of most of the arabs I meet, and have currently met around 600 different individuals. Most of them stay between 1,45 m up to 1,60 m, so that's not that huge though:)
